Our Lady of the Lake University welcomes over 30 employers for job fair.

SAN ANTONIO – For current seniors, graduation is just a few months away. For those graduating seniors and other student looking for a job or internship stop by Career Services located in Main 123 to receive help obtaining that job. Former Graduate Student Mark Anthony said, “They helped me get my internship.” Anthony said the services provided got him an internship along with a job with the City of San Antonio.

Career Services is hosting a Spring 2019 job & paid internship fair on March 26 at 11 a.m. in Providence West Social Room (PWSR). There students will be able to meet more than 30 employers. Students are encouraged to sign up for the job & paid internship fair on handshake.

Career Services also provides services free of charge to all Our Lady of the Lake University students. Students needing help in their career advances should make an appointment with a career advisor. Career advisors are available to those students who want help with their resumes, cover letters, and how to search online portals for careers or internships.

Any student needing to schedule an appointment can do so on the handshake application. The application is available on both android and IOS. There OLLU students can search for internships and job opportunities. Career Advisor Lucero Villarreal said, “We can help with interview preparation and clothes for an interview”. Career Services has a career closet that students may utilize before attending a job interview or internship. 

As a bonus those students who attend the career fair and follow career services on Instagram (ollucareerandtesting) will be eligible to win a $100 gift card from Amazon. The drawing will take place during the career fair on Instagram.
