Bio: Carolina Teague is a five-year veteran freelance sports radio host and journalist, working for SA Sports Star, SB Nation’s Pounding the Rock, SportsAsToldByAGirl.com and Ring Announcer for River City Wrestling. Teague received a Bachelors’s Degree in Business Management from Wayland Baptist University and is a Galvanize member of the university. In addition, Teague is a National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) member and works full-time in the mortgage industry. Outside of her busy work schedule, Teague is a mommy of two, and in her spare time, you can find her cooking or exercising. 

Fun Fact: You can also find Teague on the song ‘Meep Meep,โ€™ a tribute to UTSA footballโ€™s fantastic season in 2021.

Bio: Lexi Hazlett is a television and digital multimedia journalist at KENS 5 in San Antonio, Texas. She focuses on stories that engage the community, but also support local businesses and restaurants. She has become who many call “the food girl,” traveling across the San Antonio area to try new eats to air every week. Lexi must be a social media expert, as well, taking her stories to new heights online to engage audiences across the country. Bio: Alicia Barrera is a bilingual reporter and anchor for KSAT12 News. Barrera is also the co-host for the KSAT News Now show that streams daily on the KSAT12 website. Before joining KSAT in November 2018, she reported along the Texas-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley for Telemundo 40. Barrera first moved to San Antonio in 2010 as an undergraduate student at Our Lady of the Lake University and graduated with a Bachelorโ€™s in Mass Communications in 2015. In Barreraโ€™s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, and taking trips to Mexico.

Sarah Bio: Sarah Duran is a reporter for the KENS 5 Eyewitness News team. Duran, born and raised in San Antonio, TX, graduated from Texas State University in 2015 with a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electronic Media. Sarah has covered significant events such as Hurricane Harvey, Texas mass shootings, and the Coronavirus pandemic. Duran stems from a family of journalists, with her grandparents founding the only bilingual newspaper in San Antonio, La Prensa. Growing up in a family of journalists, she quickly became interested in the field at a young age. In her free time, you can find her enjoying a cup of coffee and relaxing with family.
