SAN ANTONIO – Located in the heart of the westside of San Antonio, not far from Our Lady of that Lake University (OLLU) is a small family-owned snack-shack called Panchitos Fruit Cups and More. Students of OLLU that show their school ID and purchase the six dollar combo which includes an ear of small corn and a large agua fresca get a free paleta.
“I enjoy their tasty watermelon fruit cups with a little bit of Tajin, my friends and I come here to have a relaxing time and enjoy a tasty treat,” said Multimedia journalism major Gisselle Cassarubias.
Co-owner Esmeralda Torres invites all members of the San Antonio community to stop by her shop at 4540 W. Commerce St. Panchitos Fruit Cups and More is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
