SAN ANTONIO – The Riverwalk is notorious for its beautiful city sights and amazing restaurants. There is so much to see at the Riverwalk but one prize location is Café Ole, famous for its hot sizzling Tex-Mex menu.
They are at a prime location on the Riverwalk where you’ll be able to enjoy live music, great sights of the river and served with great hospitality; the restaurant is also in close proximity to the Go Rio Cruise boats where you can get a tour of downtown San Antonio.
According to Erin Besa service manager of Café Ole, “for each college student with a valid college ID, they get a free cup of queso that goes great with the purchase of any meal on their menu.” On Thursday nights from 7-10 p.m. music is provided for people of all ages. Students can also come down on Saturdays to relax where they fill the place with live music from 2-5 p.m. For those who are 21 and up with a valid ID can enjoy Café Ole’s open bar which serves their infamous 60-ounce margaritas.

Local resident Hernan Martinez Martinez said, “the Café Ole restaurant provides a great feeling of hospitality from the servers, I had the enchiladas verde and the pound of chicken and beef combination fajitas. The food tasted like home which gave it a great feel while seeing that amazing view of the river.” Café Ole is a Tex-Mex restaurant that has its own special vibe, made from the great hospitality and service and a breathtaking view of the Riverwalk that will be hard to forget.
So remember, for all college students with a valid college ID a free cup of queso with the purchase of a meal is a great way to spend your time on the Riverwalk.
