By Alexa Saavedra SAN ANTONIO – On Wednesday, April 18, Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) held the annual Greek Olympics outside of Sueltenfuss Library. OLLU currently has six active Greeks on campus (four sororities and two fraternities), three of which participated in the Olympics which are held every spring semester. Victoria Mendez, Greek Olympics Coordinator and Student Director of Marketing for the Center for Service Learning explains how the Greek Olympics are meant to “thank the Greeks for all the service they do on campus and for the community.” With a pizza party at stake for the winning Greeks, Omega Delta Phi, Delta Xi Nu, and Kappa Delta Chi went head-to-head in a series of events that were both physical and strategic. “A little competition and bonding in between classes is always something to look forward to at the Greek Olympics and you can’t go wrong with a pizza party” says Vice President of Omega Delta Phi, Lazaro Hernandez. Those interested in joining a sorority or fraternity,  you can find information during Rush Week held the first month of every fall and spring semester or visit the link below. http://www.ollusa.edu/s/1190/hybrid/18/default-hybrid-ollu.aspx?sid=1190&gid=1&pgid=7583
