The Our Lady of the Lake University Rio Grande Valley campus in La Feria, Texas is gearing up for multiple events throughout the month of March.
On Tuesday, March 5, the school will hold an ice cream social for Bachelor of Social Work students. An ice cream social will also be held for Master of Social Work students on March 9.
A second event on March 5 will be a reception to honor 12 students from the RGV campus who made the Dean’s List. Those students are: Logan Bryant, Yvette Bueno, Mark Cantu, Erika Davila, Megan Garcia, Erica Gomez, Ana Grimaldi, Cynthia Martinez, Savanna McClure, Leticia Mireles, Mayra Yanez and Kathleen Zamora.
On Thursday, March 21, an open house for leadership studies will be held at OLLU RGV. All current and prospective students are invited to meet with faculty, staff, and alumni as well as discuss the Master of Organized Leadership and PhD in Leadership programs.
On March 26, a town hall meeting will be held at 12:00 p.m.
On March 29, author and poet Dr. Octavio Quintanilla will live-stream a presentation in the OLLU RGV MPR room from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
