SAN ANTONIO-Our Lady of the Lake (OLLU) students, staff and faculty now have the opportunity to show off their skills on stage thanks to an event called Coffee House Live Music.
This event is put on by the International Folk Culture Center (IFCC).
Organizer of the event, Ciji Couvertier said, “We put together five performers that we thought would have a good fit, a good mix, that would provide music that suits to different genres and areas here on campus. Today we had 75 people attend which I think is great, that was my goal and we made it. So I definitely think we would definitely carry on this tradition at OLLU.”
The OLLU dance team and cheerleaders held a donut and brownie sell during the event to raise funds for the teams.
OLLU cheerleader, Kamariah Bradleey gave her opinion on the event and said, “You could see the talent that we have here at OLLU. Staff, students, poetry wise, musically, all the instruments they are able to play and everything.”
For any information of the event and future ones go to the IFCC building.
