On Thursday, March 7, the Our Lady of the Lake University Houston campus will celebrate the grand opening of their new location. An official campus blessing is scheduled to take place in early March.

OLLU Houston Undergraduate Admissions Counselor Rachelle Compton shared that on Feb. 16, Student Services hosted the first Saints Production Board interest meeting with the purpose of increasing student engagement and involvement. “The attendance from students was great and several provided innovative ideas to boost school spirit,” Compton said.

On Feb. 9 and Feb. 16, the campus staff celebrated the first Saints’ Valentine Student Appreciation Day “by displaying our love and appreciation for our current undergraduate and graduate students by providing sweet treats and snacks as a way to say ‘thank you!’” Compton said.

On Jan. 28 Master of Science in Psychology staff members Dr. Bohanon and Dr. Gabel as well as Graduate Admissions Counselor Angela Frierson “addressed a packed classroom of prospective MS in Psychology students,” Compton said. The informational session “was the largest Psychology-specific information session we’ve had in three years. Current MS Psychology students and OLLU alumni also joined and shared their experiences. Attendees gained valuable insight about how our program prepares successful practitioners in the field of Psychology,” Compton said.

On March 9 the campus will host a PhD in Leadership Studies informational session and a Master of Science in Psychology Information Night on March 27.
