SAN ANTONIO—Early voting, which started October 24, ends today. For students casting their very first ballot, there are some important dates and times to be aware of.
Secretary of State’s website, registered and eligible voters may vote at any early voting location located in the county of residence. To find an early voting location, students can go online to http://www.bexar.org and click on the tab titled “Elections-Department.”
Students should check their registrations and find out if they are in fact registered to vote before heading out to the polls. The next step would be to find and review a sample ballot, then proceed to a polling location.
The main early voting location is at the Bexar County Elections Department located at 1103 S. Frio, and DEAFLINK for the hearing impaired will be available at this location.
In addition to the main early polling place on Frio, early voting will also be conducted at the following locations:
Alamo Stadium Convocation Center–110 Tuleta
Bexar County Justice Center–300 Dolorosa
Brookhollow Library–530 Heimer Road
Castle Hills City Hall–209 Lemonwood Dr.
Claude Black Center–2805 East Commerce
Cody Library–11441 Vance Jackson
Collins Garden Library–200 North Park
The last day students can vote will be Friday, November 4, 2016.
