“We’re past the point of issuing warnings” said Karen Guz, SAWS director of conservation, in a press release. Anyone caught wasting water or breaking Stage 2 watering rules will receive a citation. SAWS said in a press release on Saturday, August 13. The utility has issued more than 1,200 citations, clocking in at $150 for first time offenses.

The Food and Drug Administration says apples, melons, cranberries, broccoli, and almonds are among the foods most susceptible to the pollinator decline. 🚨Attention OLLU undergraduate students who have taken summer courses! 🚨 You must return textbooks by Monday, Aug. 15, to avoid any incurring fees. Failure to return books by the deadline will result in a charge to your account for the purchase price of each unreturned book. The San Antonio Zoo is offering $10 admission from Monday, Aug. 8 - 14 if you order your tickets online. To claim the $10 tickets, simply visit the zoo’s website here to purchase them. Be sure to use the checkout code: SUMMER22.

OLLU weekend session classes begin Saturday, and traditional session classes begin Monday, Aug. 15. In preparation for the start of classes, the OLLU move-in schedule continues throughout this week. Check in takes place in the Residence Life Office through Wednesday and will take place in the Saints Lounge and Market (C-Store Lounge) on Thursday and Friday.
