Applications for The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA opened up October 1st for the 2019-2020 academic school year. To apply visit the website student aid.ed.gov.
Several students feel it is important to apply for FAFSA as early as possible. Ayanna Gomez said it’s important so you can get you financial assistance as soon as possible for the next academic school year. Brett Vasquez said that applying for FAFSA is important because it helps with education expenses like tuition and fees.
“I feel it is important to apply as earliest you can so FAFSA can review your application so they could compensate you as much as possible,” said Vasquez.
