SAN ANTONIO—The 2015-2016 OLLU Men’s Club Basketball team returns eight players, including two seniors, four juniors, and two sophomores.
Seniors include Alejandro Ramirez (Castroville, TX), and Jaquan Patrick (Killeen, TX).
Ramirez is the team Captain and plays a vital role in the Saints success on and off the court. While at OLLU, he has received awards such as TCCSL All-Academic Team; TCCSL 2nd Team All-Conference, as well as being on the Dean’s list.
Returning juniors are led by Co Captains Shawn Hinojo (El Paso, TX) and Armando Victorino (Fredricksburg, TX), as well as Kane Mata (San Antonio, TX) and Ryan Vaughn (Pflugerville, TX).
Sophomores consist of Carlos Perez III (Mission, TX) and Gabriel Ramirez (San Antonio, TX).
Along with the returners the team welcomes two new faces, freshmen Ni’Keaven Chestnut (Kansan City, MO) and AJ Harvey (Pflugerville, TX).
Through 10 games, the Saints are currently 2-8 on the season. With eight games remaining, they are working hard to bounce back and finish the season strong.
Four of the eight remaining games will be taken place at OLLU’s Mabee Gymnasium, including their next game vs. Northwest Vista College on February 10, 2016. For more information visit www.ollusaintsathletics.com.
