What am I thankful for?

Five orange pumpkins sit in a row in front of a distressed, wooden background.

Thanksgiving is around the corner and that means it’s time to eat! It’s also the season to reflect and give thanks for all the blessings we have as an OLLU community.

There are so many people who are less fortunate than us and we tend to forget that. So in true OLLU spirit, let us reflect on the great things in our lives, and give thanks.

The Lake Front invites you to comment below, and sound off on what you are thankful for. Your submission may be published  in the November issue of the Lake Front Newspaper.

Below are some reasons Lake Front students and staff are thankful this year.

  2. I am thankful for…the ability to attend an excellent school that has a community that cares for students. I also am thankful for the amazing friends that I have made here.—Alexis Medrano

  3. I am thankful for…my mom. My mother forms a big part of my support system on a daily basis. I am grateful she is in my life and that I can still enjoy her wonderful Puerto Rican cooking.-Maria Elena Cruz
